The Teamloyees Events Overview gadget for Jira allows users to get a quick summary of upcoming events such as vacations, sick days, birthdays and holidays within a specific time frame.

Adding a gadget

Follow these steps to add a gadget to a dashboard:

  1. Go to the dashboard by selecting the Dashboards link in the top navigation bar.

  2. On the dashboard, Click Add gadget. If you do not see this button, go to the ... menu on the top right and select Edit dashboard. The Add gadget button will now appear on your dashboard.

  3. In the search field, type Teamployees Events Overview and click Add button to choose the gadget.

Configure

You can flexibly configure the gadget to display only the events you need for a certain period of time.

Display Period: Users can customize the time period for which they want to view upcoming events. This could include a daily, weekly, or monthly overview.

Event Types:

Color Coding: All events are color coded to help users quickly identify the type of events (eg national holiday, vacation, sick leave).

Public Holidays:

Refresh Interval: How often you would like this gadget to update

Navigation: Users can often navigate through different dates or time periods within the overview, making it easy to plan and manage their schedule.
